In a heartfelt public message, Timpf described her father as much more than a parent, calling him her “hero,” “rock,” and “best friend.” She remembered him as a devoted family man whose life centered around supporting and caring for his children. According to her tribute, Daniel Timpf was known for his loyalty, strong work ethic, and selfless nature.
Timpf shared that her father’s death came as a shock because he had appeared healthy and active before his sudden passing. According to Timpf, her father immediately came to support her after learning about the diagnosis, traveling from Michigan to New York to be by her side. She said he arrived around the same time her son was born, which coincidentally was also his birthday.
Throughout her medical treatments, including a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, Daniel Timpf remained a major source of support for the family. Timpf said he frequently traveled to help care for his grandson and assist during her recovery process.
She also spoke about the close relationship her father developed with his first grandchild, describing their bond as one of the few joyful highlights during an otherwise difficult year. According to her statement, he treasured every opportunity to spend time with his grandson and stayed closely connected through regular visits and FaceTime calls.
Timpf revealed that she had seen her father only days before his death. The family had reportedly been planning a June trip to Texas together, where they intended to visit her 93-year-old grandfather.
The devastating reality of the loss, she said, came when she received a call from an emergency room physician informing her that her father had unexpectedly died.
In her emotional statement, Timpf openly expressed the depth of her grief, describing the loss as “an unimaginable horror.” She reflected on the challenges of the past year — including childbirth and cancer treatment — and said she now longs for that time again simply because her father was still alive.
