In loving memory of Kylie N. Ward, 21, of Lone Grove, whose life was tragically lost in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 in Carter County, Oklahoma, just before 3 a.m. on Saturday.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Kylie was traveling southbound near mile marker 45 when, for reasons still under investigation, her vehicle departed the roadway to the left. The vehicle then overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its top. She was wearing her seatbelt and was the only person in the vehicle. Despite that, she died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Her passing was confirmed at the scene, and next of kin has been notified. The crash remains under active investigation as authorities continue to determine what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
Beyond the official details, this is a heartbreaking loss of a young life gone far too soon. At just 21 years old, Kylie was at the beginning of her journey in life—full of hopes, dreams, and a future that now remains unfulfilled. Her absence leaves a deep void for her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
